We have seen the revival of beauty icon Marilyn Monroe as beauty ambassador for MaxFactor, and it seems that now a trend has started; the oldies return to reign!
Twiggy as recently been chosen as hair ambassador for L’Oreal. Big, bright eyed sixties model with her iconic bob was brought to our screens by starring in M&S campaigns a few years ago, and it seems that she is continuing to make her mark even at the age of 65.
Personally, being a nineties child I was not brough up surrounded by Twiggy or Marilyn Monroe in their prime, however they have undoubtedly left an heirloom behind as they remained familiar faces and were still renowned even years later, and today.
It is truly inspiring that the ‘Oldies’ are making a come back by being the ambassdors for beauty brands. It proves that beauty is not solely young fresh faced Victoria Secrets models as a lot of young girls believe, but also the older generation.
